Tenure-Track Faculty Position to begin fall 2010

 

Keene State College is seeking an Elementary Educator to collaborate in
the preparation of socially responsible teachers.  Position focuses on
working with colleagues to integrate literacy and social justice
education across the curriculum.

 

Required qualifications: Earned doctorate in Education or related field,
or expectation of doctoral degree completion by August 2011; minimum of
three years full-time teaching experience at the elementary level (K-8);
supervision/mentoring of pre-service teachers or other education
professionals. Priority consideration will be given to candidates with
experience and/or knowledge of literacy development among elementary
students and of culturally responsive teaching and social justice
education.  Additional preferred qualifications include: K-6 classroom
teaching experience; strength in K-6 social studies, math and/or science
pedagogy; supervision of pre-service teachers; college teaching
experience.
