Our Issues, Our People:
Math as Our Weapon
The 12th grade Math and Social Justice class, at the Lawndale/Little
Village Social Justice High School will present what we have been
learning this year to our communities in North Lawndale and Little
Village. We will present on using mathematics to learn about:
Neighborhood displacement
* Gentrification, sub-prime mortgages, deportation, immigration
HIV/AIDS in our communities
Criminalization of Youth of Color/People of Color
