Dear Colleagues,
Earlier today I posted a review essay of the YA
novel, BEARSTONE, written by Will Hobbs. The
essay is by a professor in American Indian
Studies who was asked to visit a middle school
class to talk about the novel. It is interesting
for two reasons: first is her critique of the
novel; second is her experience with the teacher.
A thoughtful essay, it provides much to think about.
