Hello - I'm a 4th-year teacher interested in getting a masters degree, and I
need advice for which universities and programs to look into. I'm interested
in studying international social justice in order to be better informed to
teach it at the high-school level in conjunction with my current areas of
certification: English, Spanish, and psychology. I'd like to learn more
about the causes and history of international social justice problems, the
economic and political factors involved, other countries' roles in aiding
(or harming) the resolution of these issues, possible solutions, how
individuals - both nationally and internationally - should respond and/or
help, and other information. I'd also like to learn more about consumer
consciousness as it relates to these issues. As I'm interested in using this
degree to enhance my current degree and career, it would be nice if the
program included some sort of pedagogical element as well.
Please let me know if you have any recommendations and could point me in the
right direction.
Thanks for your help. I look forward to hearing from you.
Cherilyn
