[RSCT] A conference on "Inspiring Climate Education", Copenhagen, Denmark

Dear RS members!

I am writing to you on behalf of Danish Science Communication, as we are
trying to attract attention to a conference supported by the Ministry of
Education in Denmark.

The first international teachers’ conference Inspiring Climate Education,
ICE09 will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark, October 12-14, 2009. And
there are still some spots available.

Briefly on the conference:
The conference will focus on how to raise awareness on teaching climate
change.
Secondary teachers from all over the world will exchange ideas and develop
recommendations for teaching climate change in order to empower youth to
understand and react against climate change as we see it right now.

Grants
Grants are available for citizens from LDCs (least developed countries).
The grant will cover flight and hotel, and cannot exceed an amount equal
to Danish Kroner 10.000.

we may gather as many dedicated and knowledgeable people in Copenhagen as
possible.
