No Name-Calling Week 2009: January 26-30

 

Next week, schools across the nation will take part in a united effort
to end name-calling and bullying in schools.  No Name-Calling Week is a
national program supported by over 40 national organizations including
the NEA, the Girl Scouts of the USA and N.A.M.E., aimed at ending
name-calling in schools.  The Creative Expression Contest is a component
of NNCW and a chance for students to submit their original art pieces
about name-calling and win cool prizes.  Schools will be asked to
encourage their students to create art pieces during the week to prevent
name calling to submit to our Creative Expression Contest, deadline
February 13th.
