In my children's lit class at UIUC, we discussed
(yesterday) THE BOOK THAT CRACK BUILT. I am
writing to RS to ask if any of you have used the
book, or know of its use. With what audience? Was
it used as a learning tool, about drugs? Was it
used to discuss stereotypes associated with
drugs? How was the lesson received? What sort of
discussion did it generate? You can write to me
off-list (if you prefer) at debreese at illinois.edu.

Thanks,
Debbie
