I love your tea party! As a secondary content literacy specialist, I make use of my access to all content areas by exposing students to Zinn's work, yours, and others from edliberation, NYCORE, etc. I will be delighted to share your work with my pr0-eservice high school teachers in western New York. EDUCATION PROGRAM SPECIALIST
WASHINGTON, DC
Position available with Peace Corps, Paul D. Coverdell World Wise Schools.
Duties: Acts as part of a small team developing K-12 content about global issues based on the Peace Corps Volunteer experience; provides support and technical assistance to K-12 educators in the use of resources to develop "globally ready" young people; develops curriculum content in multiple media formats; represents and promotes curriculum projects to stakeholders; communicates clearly with program constituents about programs; facilitates professional development activities for K-12 educators.
Qualifications: professional teaching experience is required; experience as a Peace Corps Volunteer desirable.
Salary: $49,712-$61,140.
